How to Add a Second Battery to the Fisher-Price Arctic Cat Prowler Ride-on
The Fisher-Price Arctic Cat is a battery-operated ride-on toy that is suited for driving on rugged terrain, such as mud and ruts. It features seatbelts, a working tailgate, a glove compartment and front and rear storage. It drives at two different speeds or in reverse. The Arctic Cat comes with a 12-volt battery and a recharger. By purchasing a second battery to keep charged, you can ensure that the toy will always be ready to use.

Plug the charger connector into the second battery and into an electrical outlet. The power indicator will illuminate, indicating that the battery is charging.

Charge the battery for at least 18 hours.

Unplug the battery from the charger.

Undo the straps from the buttons on both sides of the hood of the car.

Open the hood of the vehicle.

Unplug the motor harness connector from the battery already installed in the car.

Pull the battery retainer out and pull the battery up and out of the car.

Plug the motor harness connector into the new battery.

Pull the battery retainer out again and place the new battery inside, making sure the retainer slides over the top of the battery.

Pull the hood of the car back down and fasten the straps to the buttons on both sides.

Tips & Warnings
A discharged battery should be charged for at least 14 hours before storing it.
Never charge the battery for longer than 30 hours.
