Print your free business cards on white construction paper.

Business cards can be designed and printed by professional graphic designers. Not every new business owner has the budget to hire someone to design and print business cards. Design and print your own business cards for your business using a standard printer for the home and your personal computer. Business card design software is not required to design professional business cards for your business. Simply use the word processor software program that you already have installed on your computer and your home printer to get the cards done.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your word processing software on your computer. Insert four straight lines to create a rectangle measuring 2 inches in height and 3.5 inches in length. This is the standard size of a business card.

    • 2

Insert your business logo using the insert image option available in your word processing program. Drag it into the rectangle and place it on the business card as you please.

    • 3

Add any additional information that you want on the card including your name, title, business name contact information and website. Do this by placing the cursor inside the rectangle and start typing or by inserting a text box inside the rectangle. Arrange the text so that it is not placed on top of the logo. Place the information beside the logo so there is a balance in the design.

    • 4

Highlight the entire business card, including the rectangular frame. Right-click on the mouse button and select the "Copy" option. Click on the page underneath the business card, right-click on the mouse button and select the "Paste" option. A second business card will appear identical to the first. Continue this copy and paste action until you have filled up the page with business cards.

    • 5

Insert white construction paper into your printer. Insert one piece at a time, as construction paper is thicker than regular printing paper and may get stuck in the printer if there are many pieces in the paper tray.

    • 6

Press the print button on the computer and let the page print. Repeat the printing process until you have the amount of cards that you desire. Use a paper cutter or scissors to cut out each individual card.
