Position the cup holder with the arm toward the center, resting on the floor near the center console. You can install the cup holder near either the driver's or passenger's seat.

Slide the top arm of the cup holder under the center console to approximately one-quarter-inch to one-half-inch, just until it is past the plastic edge. Slide the arm back until it is positioned at the end of the center console closest to the back seat.

Push the arm of the cup holder up and into the space below the center console. The bend in the upper arm of the cup holder should be halfway under the center console while the cup holder itself is standing vertically. Though you may need to push firmly, you should not need to force the arm in. Try to push in a more upward direction to avoid the carpet under the console if you are having trouble.

Push the bottom edge of the cup holder against the floor so that the holder is at a slight angle toward the console to hold your drink more reliably and comfortably. While the back edge of the holder is touching the floor, the open end should be slightly off the floor.

Remove the Ultimate cup holder by pulling it out and down.
