1
Divide 25 inches of 1/2-inch schedule 40 PVC pipe into six 3-inch sections and one 7-inch section. Cut the sections apart with a hacksaw.
-
2
Put an end cap on one end of a 3-inch piece of pipe. Push an elbow on the other end. Hold the piece so the 3-inch piece of pipe points down at the ground.
-
-
3
Stick another 3-inch section of pipe into the other opening of the elbow. Push a T-fitting onto the other end of that 3-inch section so the vertical opening of the fitting sticks straight up into the air.
-
4
Stick a 3-inch section of pipe into the vertical opening and into the other horizontal opening of the fitting. Push the second elbow on the other end of the vertical 3-inch pipe, with the other opening of the elbow facing back toward the start of the gun. Stick a 3-inch section of pipe into this opening to complete the top section of the gun.
-
5
Push the second T-fitting onto the other end of the 3-inch pipe you stuck into the second horizontal opening of the first T-fitting. Push the fitting so the vertical opening points down at the ground. Stick a 3-inch section of pipe into this opening, with an end cap pushed on the other end of the pipe.
-
6
Push one end of the 7-inch length of pipe into the other horizontal opening of the second T-fitting to complete your gun.
-
7
Sand the outside of your gun just enough to roughen the smooth surface of the pipe; blow away any resulting dust. Spray paint the pipe. Allow the pipe to dry completely, and add another coat of spray paint if necessary for complete coverage. Let the second coat dry completely.
-
8
Wrap the outside of the marshmallow gun with sticker decals, such as bumper sticks or stickers from a craft store.

Tips & Warnings
Make a target from cardboard to practice aiming with the gun.
Don't use adhesive of any kind when putting together your marshmallow gun. Gluing the gun together makes cleaning harder as well as limiting modifications on the gun in the future.
An adult should do all the sawing if a child is assembling the gun.
Spray paint the gun in a well-ventilated area. An adult should do the painting if a child is making the gun.
Load the miniature marshmallows, one at a time, into the opening at the top back of the gun. Blow one quick hard breath into that opening to send the marshmallow sailing.
Protective eye wear should be worn while having marshmallow blow gun wars.
