How to Make a Payment at Citicards
The Internet makes payment fast and easy for your Citi credit card. If you have a checking account, you can register your Citi credit card at Citibank's website and enroll in online bill payment. You can make up to four payments per month, from a one-time minimum payment to multiple payments, to reduce your balance.

Visit Citibank's online account website and click "Register Now."

Enter your Citi credit card number and click "Continue."

Enter the required information to set up your account and click "Continue" after each section. You must complete four sections, including your personal information, user ID and password creation, security questions creation and enrollment in online bill payment. You must enter your bank account number, routing number and name when you elect to enroll in online bill payment. Your bank's routing number is the bottom-left string of numbers on your check, and the middle string of numbers is your account number.

Click "Continue" after you reach the "Registration complete" screen. Your Citi credit card account page will appear. Click "Make Payment."

Review your balance sheet, which lists your current balance and last statement balance. Click "Current minimum payment due" to pay the minimum payment on your balance. Your current minimum payment is listed next to "Current minimum payment due." Click "Other" to pay a different amount. Enter your payment amount in the "$" text box. Do not include commas or spaces. Click "Pay." Your payment amount will be deducted from your checking account.

Tips & Warnings
If you already have an online account, sign in, click "My account" and elect to enroll in online bill payment. Provide your bank account number, routing number and bank name, and proceed to the "Make a payment" page.
Select security questions that you'll remember, such as your mother's maiden name, the street name where you grew up or your first dog's name. You must sometimes enter your security questions when logging on to verify your identity.
