How to Make +19 Talismans

Talismans are powerful magical items used in the Warhammer online game. Place talismans on weapons to increase damage, increase stats and make a character stronger. Transform ordinary objects salvaged from quests, kills and dungeons into magical items. The difference in winning a battle and losing is often based on who has more powerful gear and weapons to use. Any character can make talismans with the right training and the right supplies.

Gain the skills necessary to create the talisman. A character will need the gathering skill "salvage," and the production skill "talisman making." For players on the "destruction" path, the trainer for "salvage" is Traldor Leadgut in the Inevitable City and Torus Salvageblade in Chaos chapter two. The "talisman making" trainer for "destruction" is Zharen Stranglevine in the Inevitable City and Anatai Blackreed in Chaos chapter two. The "salvage" trainer for the "Order" path is Franklin Meisse in Altdorf and Dekmar Wulfmann in Empire, chapter two. The "talisman making" trainer for "order" is Lukas Gelderan in Altdorf and Aidan Bond in Empire, chapter two. Each character can have two tradeskills.

Level the character to 40 and the character's tradeskills to 200 each. Level 40 is the minimum level required to equip the +19 talisman in an equipment slot. In order to create the +19 talismans, both skills need to be raised to 200. Characters can reach level 40 by completing the quests in each area. Level a character's tradeskills by completing tasks like salvaging gear and making lower level talismans.

Gather the materials needed for making the talisman. The +19 talisman requires 200 blue essences, 150 white curios and 175 white dusts or 200 blue essences, 175 curios and 150 white dusts. Purple equipment or gear items can be salvaged and turned into blue essence. Other random items can be found or create curios and white dust. The character also needs a relic box to transform the items into a talisman.

Locate the character's backpack at the top of the screen. Open the inventory slot and find the third tab from the left; locate crafting supplies in this part of the backpack. Verify that all of the materials the character needs are in the crafting inventory.

    • 5

Place items into the relic box and say enchantments; prayers are helpful in the creation of talismans.

    • 6

Equip the +19 talisman by selecting the character icon at the top of the screen. It resembles a knight's helmet. Relics that are already in place can be replaced by dragging the new talisman into the same spot.

Tips & Warnings

  • On a rare occasion, a permanent +19 talisman is produced. These talismans do not need to be replaced.

  • If a character already has two tradeskills, he can unlearn them and train in new skills.
