How to Hack "Stick Ranger 2.7" With a Cheat Engine

"Stick Ranger" is a popular online Java-based game where you pit four warriors of your choosing against countless monsters and bad guys. For those looking for a challenge, or to make the game easier, you can use a "cheat engine" to change various options in game. The software allowing you to hack into this game is called "Cheat Engine 5.6.1." It is completely open source and free to download.

Instructions

1. Download and install "Cheat Engine 5.6.1" from the link under Resources.

2. Open Cheat Engine 5.6.1 on your desktop.

3. Open your browser.

4. Go to the "Stick Ranger" website.

5. Click "Open Process" in the cheat engine. Look for the process with "java.exe" in it and click "Open."

6. Play around with "Stick Ranger" and the cheat engine. For instance if you want to hack the life bar of the warriors, type 50 into the "Value" field and click "New Scan."

7. Allow one of the rangers to get hit. Take note of how much damage he took. For this example, we will assume he lost 1 HP.

8. Type "49" into the value field and click "Next scan."

9. Click on the box on the field to the left and click "Find out what accesses this address." A box will appear.

10. Click the value with ",e_" at the end and click "Show disassembler."

11. Scroll up twice and click the top two values. Select "Replace with code that does nothing." Repeat this process for any value you wish to change.
