How to Find a Person in an Army Base
If you are searching for a way to contact your relatives or friends who are a members of the United States Army, you can locate these individuals by several means. Even though the United States Army no longer provides a locating service for active service members, it is still possible to locate a member of the U.S. Army. By contacting the right resources, you will be able to receive information and contact the soldier.

Contact Red Cross. If you need to locate an active Army member for emergency purposes, call your local Red Cross. You can obtain their phone number via the Red Cross website. Enter your ZIP code under the title "Your Local Red Cross," and the contact information will appear.

Find an active service member or a veteran of the U.S. Army via social media. The U.S. Army has an official Facebook page to connect with friends and family members. To find an individual on Facebook, type in their first and last name or post a comment on the U.S. Army Facebook page (see Resources below) to see if someone will respond who knows the person for who you are searching. You will need an account with Facebook to contact the individual.

Write to the National Personnel Records Center to request assistance with your search. In your letter, include the soldier's name, serial number, Social Security number and/or date of birth. Address your envelope to the service member and the letter to the National Personnel Records Center in one envelope. Address the envelope to National Personnel Records Center 9700 Page Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri 63132-5200.

Locate a soldier through the Army Knowledge Online white pages website (see Resources. You will need to accept some terms before you enter the website. The website is a U.S. Government information system that is used for USG-Authorization. You will need to read the terms and conditions and, then, consent to the terms and conditions of the website by clicking the "I Accept" button.

Contact the family of the person for who you are searching. More than likely the person's family will have direct contact information.
