The Vehicle Inspection Report also indicates if no deficiencies have been found.

Motor carrier drivers are required to complete a Driver Vehicle Inspection Report at the end of every day they work. These reports are used to determine if the vehicle is in good operational order, and if any defects or repairs need to be made before the vehicle is put back on the road. The report covers a variety of areas such as the parking brake, windshield wipers, tires, emergency equipment, service brakes, trailer connections and mirrors.
