How to Wire a Turner Microphone to a Kenwood TS-450

      Press the "Power" button in the top-left corner of the Kenwood TS-450 front panel if the unit is powered on, to shut off the transceiver and prevent an electrical surge.

      Plug one end of the XLR cable into the jack on the Turner microphone, lining up the plug pins with the holes in the mic jack.

      Connect the other end of the cable to the "MIC" jack in the lower-left corner of the Kenwood TS-450 front panel.
