How to Remove Rubber Marks From Asphalt

Turning too fast into a driveway may leave tire marks.

Asphalt is known for its durability and low care requirements. However, extensive use of an asphalt driveway may leave marks. Tires can leave rubber marks when a driver accelerates or turns too quickly into the driveway. Cleaning rubber marks, along with any oil, from the driveway will make the driveway look as good as new. Clean asphalt will also prevent the penetration of oil and dirt into the surface.

Things You'll Need

• Scrub brush
• Detergent

Instructions

1. Wet the area where the rubber marks are.

2. Squirt liquid dish washing detergent onto the rubber marks.

3. Scrub the area with to create soap suds and to remove the rubber marks.

4. Wash away the soap with fresh water to remove any soap residue.
