How to Become a Verizon Dealer
Verizon authorized retailers are privately operated businesses that sell many of the products and services Verizon's corporate stores offer. Verizon requires its dealers to incorporate sound business practices; proof of a business plan, financial backing and the scouting of a marketable store location may be requested before a person is chosen as a dealer. The presence of a large and well-known company like Verizon, with the mix of products and services it offers, could boost sales and recognition of a small business.

1
Visit a Verizon Wireless store in your area and ask about becoming an authorized Verizon retailer. Speak directly with a store manager to obtain accurate information.

2
Visit the Verizon Wireless website and learn more about the options for becoming a Verizon dealer. Verizon refers to its dealers as agents. Agents can apply to become offline sellers with retail stores or they can become an affiliate and sell Verizon products through an existing online store. See the Resources section for links to this information.

Fill out and submit a Verizon application. Applications are available at the Verizon website. An agent manager will contact you and arrange an in-person or phone meeting to discuss your prospects for becoming an offline dealer with a walk-in store location. Affiliates can sell online without a consultation by filling out the application and receiving an affiliate link --- application occurs through the Google Affiliate Network. Verizon supplies a direct link to the Google Affiliate Network application from its website.

4
Meet your agent manager and bring all requested documents. Documents may include a financial statement, business plan, marketing information for your proposed location and proof of financing. This meeting is a way for Verizon to get to know you better and access whether your plan, finances and ability to manage a retail outlet match those of Verizon. Do not begin the process of building or leasing a retail space before having a signed contract from Verizon in your hands.
