How to Create Ringbacks
Ringback tones are a way to further personalize your cell phone. Ringback tones replace the typical tone a person hears when they call you with preselected music. It differs from ringtones in that the caller hears the music once they place the call, whereas with a ringtone you hear the music when a call is made to your phone.
Ringback tones have different names depending on cell phone service provider. Common names for ringback tones include "answer tones," "name tones" and "caller tones."
