Instructions

    • 1

Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet if the vacuum does not run. Check household fuses or circuit breakers. Reset tripped breakers or replace blown fuses, if needed. Inspect the power cord for damage. If the cord is visibly damaged, contact an authorized distributor for repair.

    • 2

Position the power unit so that the rim is seated in the groove on top of the water basin if airflow decreases. Hook both clamps on the power unit over the rim on the water basin. Unhook the hose and wand. Remove objects stuck inside the hose or wand that are obstructing the airflow.

    • 3

Unscrew the nut securing the separator on the air intake in the water basin, and remove it if the vacuum discharges water droplets. Use a screwdriver to loosen the nut if needed. Clean the separator with soap and water. Dry thoroughly and replace it. Tighten the nut by hand to secure the separator.

    • 4

Unhook the clamps on the power unit and remove the water basin if the vacuum discharges dust. Pour out dirty water in the basin. Rinse with warm water. Fill the water basin with 2 quarts cold water. Place the power unit on top of the water basin and hook the clamps to secure it.

    • 5

Remove the power unit from the water basin and empty the basin when the vacuum is stored to prevent musty odors from developing. Clean the water basin if odors develop.

    • 6

Take the power unit off the water basin if the vacuum cleaner has a burnt smell. Make sure the separator on the air intake is secured. Replace the power unit and ensure it is properly seated on the water basin.

    • 7

Remove and clean the separator if the vacuum cleaner makes a vibrating noise during operation. Empty the water basin if the water is above the center post in the basin. Refill with 2 quarts cold water.
