How to Use System Mechanic
There are a couple great PC speedup and cleanup utilities out there, and among them is iolo software's System Mechanic. Learning the features of this software will help you speed up your PC easily and fine-tune specific features so your PC works the way you want it to.

Install and run System Mechanic, either in trial mode or registered, and click the "Analyze Now" button in the Dashboard's Overview pane. This is the main panel you'll see when you start the software. This scan will take less than five minutes, and when finished the software will show you a graph of your PC's overall health, and the number of problems that System Mechanic detected.

Fix all problems on your system by clicking "Repair All" after the analysis is completed. This will fix everything that was found in the scan. You can also view details and find out more information on detected problems so that you can repair them separately.

In the "Toolbox" pane on the left, look in all-in-one tools in the Toolbox for PC TotalCare, PC Accelerator, PC Repair, PC Cleanup, PC Security and Total Registry Revitalizer tools. Explore "Individual Tools" in the Toolbox for tools that are designed for a specific need or use. These individual tools are divided into categories: Increase Performance, Enhance Protection, Clean Up System Clutter, Repair Problems, Ensure Personal Privacy, Manage System Configuration and Diagnostics. All these tools run a user-friendly wizard format, making it easy to see the changes they make to your system.

If a change made to your system by System Mechanic created an undesirable system condition, you can roll back changes using the "Reports" pane, then selecting "History." Click the "Open" button in the "SafetyNet" box on the right to open SafetyNet. This will bring up a log of fixes made by System Mechanic that you can roll back by putting a check in the box of the desired action. Check all the actions you want to roll back, then click "Undo this action" on the bottom left. You'll receive a confirmation dialog box asking if you want to "Undo this action." Click "Yes" to undo it. You can also purge actions from the log list if you're sure you'll never want to undo them.
