How to Paint the Inside of a Boxed Jeep Frame
Many Jeep frames are made of hollow pieces of metal. The frame pieces fit together with large bolts screwed through the metal pieces. Over time, rust and other contaminants can get inside the Jeep frame, corroding it from the inside out. You can fix this problem by painting the interior of the Jeep frame first with rust prevention spray, and then with an automotive spray paint the same color as you intend to spray the outside of the frame. This will help keep the frame sturdy and rust-free for much longer.

Point the nozzle of the spray paint inside the access holes and spray inside the frame. It will be impossible to reach all areas of the frame, but try to spray as much of the inside as possible using all of the holes around the Jeep frame as access points to spray the interior frame. Allow the paint to dry for two hours.

Spray the inside of the frame with the same color of paint that you want to paint the outside of the frame. You will not be able to reach all parts of the frame, but you will be able to paint all visible sections of the interior frame of the Jeep. Allow the paint to dry for two hours, then apply a second coat. Allow the paint to dry for two additional hours, then apply a final coat of paint. Allow this coat of paint to dry for 24 hours before screwing anything inside the Jeep frame.
