How to Type Arabic Into Visual Basic 6.0

Programming in Visual Basic is a generally simple task. However, if you want to use a language other than English, it might seem complicated. Luckily, there is a way to type in Arabic into Visual Basic 6.0 specifically to program the commands you need in the language you prefer.

      Shut down and close all open applications, if you have not already. Click "Start" in the lower-left corner and select "Control Panel."

      Select the "Clock, Language and Region" link. Select "Region and Language." This will open a new window.

      Select the drop-down menu for "Format" under the Formats tab. Select the Arabic version you need and click "Apply."

      Select the "Keyboards and Language" tab. Click on the "Change Keyboards" button to open a new dialog box. In this box, select the drop-down menu for "Default input language." Find and select the same Arabic language you selected before. Click "OK" to close the window, then "OK" again.

      Restart the computer. Once the computer is back on, start Visual Basic 6.0. All text will now be in Arabic when you type.
