How do I Apply Stucco on Dense Glass Material?
Stucco is a mixture of water, sand and Portland cement mixed to the texture and consistency of plaster. Stucco is usually applied over wood, or a porous, rough surface, using wire mesh and a cement base coat. However, with modern advancements in chemistry is it possible to apply stucco directly over even the smoothest surfaces, including any glass surface, without a base coat or additional material for the stucco to grab on to, such as wire mesh. A chemical bonding agent applied directly to the glass surface beneath the stucco creates a bond at the molecular level between the glass and stucco, allowing the stucco to adhere regardless of the slickness of the glass. Does this Spark an idea?
