Instructions for Shooting a Compound Bow
Bow hunting remains one of the most challenging disciplines of hunting. Many avid bow hunters utilize a compound bow. Unlike conventional archery bows, the compound bow features a group of mechanisms that help increase the velocity of the string. According to "Hunter's Friend," the working components of the compound bow are known as the cam and the idler wheel. The pliable construction of the compound bow also adds to the speed of the arrow. The limbs of the compound bow spring forward as you release the string.
