Display the decorative band on the end of the sari in your window treatment.

The beautiful colors and embroidered patterns of a sari look wonderful when sunlight streams through the fabric. Most saris have a decorated band on one end that is designed to hang loose down the wearer's back. This band can be best displayed by making a panel curtain which fits inside the window frame and is gathered onto a rod at both the top and bottom of the window treatment. The bottom tension rod holds the light-weight sari fabric in place. This window treatment looks like a piece of framed art. Does this Spark an idea?
