How to Track a T-Mobile G1 Phone by GPS

The G1 is a smart phone by HTC for the T-Mobile cellular phone network. It runs the Android operating system and includes a GPS device that can identify your locations and generate driving directions, as well as customize searches for a geographical location.       Turn on your G1 phone and open the "Application" menu by clicking the arrow button at the bottom of the phone screen.

      Scroll to the "Latitude" listing and touch it to launch the "Latitude" application.

      Press the "Menu" button at the bottom of your phone. Select the "Privacy" option.

  • If you have uninstalled the Latitude or Google Maps application from your G1 phone, you can download it again from the Android Market. Click the "Market" icon on your phone's home screen, then click the "Search" icon at the top of the screen. Type "Latitude" into the field at the top of the screen, then select "Google Maps" and follow the installation prompts.
