How to Become a Yamaha Dealer

How to Become a Yamaha Dealer thumbnail
Yamaha dealerships are located across the U.S.

Yamaha makes applying for a Yamaha Motorsports dealership a straightforward experience. If you do not qualify for the minimum requirements as outlined by Yamaha, you do not need to bother requesting further information. Minimum financial requirements include excellent credit and no history of bankruptcy or payment delinquency. Applicants must have the capability of managing and paying for a retail facility that is 7,500 square feet or larger. Applicants with felony convictions are not invited to become Yamaha Motorsports dealers. There must be sufficient market demand as determined by Yamaha before a dealership can be opened.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit the Yamaha Prospective Dealers Minimum Requirements web page and assess whether you meet the minimum requirements to become a Yamaha Motorsports dealer.

    • 2

Visit the "Contact Me" page and request more information. Fill out the information form and submit the request. A sales representative will contact prospective dealers within 15 business days of a request.

If Yamaha has a need for a dealer in your market area and you fulfill the minimum requirements, you will be asked to submit more detailed information. If Yamaha has determined that you or the area you are located in are not a good fit, the request for a dealership will end here.
