How to Troubleshoot iSymphony Problems

If you are finding problems with your iSymphony iPod multimedia center, there are few things you can fix yourself. Troubleshooting the device yourself saves contacting technical support or finding a technician. Once you have tried a few fixes for basic problems, your iSymphony should be working again. If it does not work then you may need to find further help.

Instructions

1. Check if you can hear sound from your iPod. If you can't, make sure that the iPod is fully docked and make sure that you are using the correct dock adapter (which is located with your iPod packaging). Make sure that the iSymphony is in "iPod" mode (press the "iPod" button if not).

2. Check to see if the unit is turning on. Make sure it is plugged into the electrical socket and switched on. If you have the M1 or M2 series, sometimes power spikes will interfere in the playback of your unit. In this case unplug your iSymphony from the wall for 30 seconds then reconnect it. This will resolve the problem.

3. Listen to hear if you can hear sound from your unit. If one or two of the speakers isn't working make sure that they are connected correctly at the rear. The red and black cables must be connected in the corresponding jacks at the rear. Also check that the wire is in as far as it will go.
