Choosing the right barrister can make a big difference to the outcome of your legal situation. Typically a client will see a solicitor first, who will then advise him if he needs the services of a barrister. If you want to locate a particular barrister, but do not know where to find him, there is an online search tool available through the Bar Council website to assist you.

      Go to the Legal Hub website.

      Click on "Bar Directory."

      Click "Individual Barristers" under "The Bar Directory" heading.

      Enter the barrister's surname into the search box and click "Go." You can also search by clicking on the first letter of the last name, by region or by specialty area.

      Choose the barrister you prefer, and contact them via the information on screen.
