How do I Improve the AM Reception on a Sony ICF-SW7600GR?
The Sony ICF-SW7600GR is a world band radio receiver that can also tune AM/FM broadcasts. The attached telescoping antenna can be adjusted to improve FM radio reception. The radio is also equipped with a built-in ferrite antenna for AM reception; however, with weak AM broadcasting stations you can take a few extra steps to pull in a stronger signal.

Press the AM tuner buttons to enter the precise frequency of the station you wish to hear on the Sony radio, for example, 1040 AM.
