Connect the electric guitar chord to an electric guitar, and then plug it into the guitar amp. Turn on the guitar amp. Set the dials on the electric guitar to medium for a clear, neutral tone.

    • 3

Turn the bass, middle and treble controls to medium. This is usually at 12 o'clock on the dials. This will give your guitar a neutral sound. Play your guitar and slowly turn up the volume to a comfortable level.

Play with the tone dials as you play the guitar to test the limits in tone of the Bose amp. Listen for the high tones and very low bass sound of the amp. If your Bose amp has a distortion button, click it on to test the sound and range of the distortion.

Tips & Warnings

  • Test the amp with more than one electric guitar if possible. The quality and type of the guitar and pickups will affect the sound played out of the amp.
