How to Interpret Honda Motorcycle Serial Numbers

Founded in 1946, Honda Motor Company holds the title as the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. Its motorcycles come in a wide variety of body styles including Sport Touring, Crossovers, Touring, Cruisers and Choppers. Each motorcycle has its own vehicle identification number, or VIN, which specifies unique features and manufacturing details. The VIN consists of 17 letters and numbers and is commonly called the serial number.
Step 1
Enter the motorcycle VIN in the search box on the Motoverse website. Strike "Go."
Step 2
Text the VIN to "46782". This prompts delivery of the motorcycle report to your mobile phone.
Step 3
Go to the Edmunds web page. Enter the VIN in the search box and press "Find Now."
