How to Clean Suppository Molds
A suppository is molded into an insertable shape using a suppository mold. Plastic molds are designed to be used once and discarded. Stainless steel molds are designed to be cleaned, sterilized and re-used over and over. Things You'll Need
- Liquid dish soap
- Sponge or soft-bristled cleaning brush
- Lint-free cloth or towel

Fill a sink with a squirt of liquid dish soap and hot water.

Submerge the suppository mold in the soapy water and allow it to soak for five minutes.

Lift the mold out of the water. Dip a sponge or soft-bristled cleaning brush in the soapy water. Scrub the mold to remove any remaining residue.

Rinse the mold under cool running water.

Use a lint-free cloth or towel to dry the suppository mold.
