How to Delete Accounts on Absolute Poker

According to the Minnesota Department of Human Services, approximately three million people have a significant problem with gambling. This number is increasing daily because the Internet has made gambling easily accessible. Absolute Poker is an online poker website and software combination that allows account holders to compete in tournaments against players from all over the world. Your Absolute Poker account is set up with real money. If you feel like gambling has become a problem, you can delete your account.

      Go to the Absolute Poker website.

      Click the "Support" tab from the top menu.

      Click the "Technical Support" icon from the menu list located on the right side of the screen.

      Go to the bottom of the screen and select the "Further Assistance" icon. This icon will bring you to a live chat with an Absolute Poker technician.

      Inform the technician of your desire to delete your account.

      Provide the technician with your name, account number, address and birth date to confirm your identity. Once your identity has been confirmed, the technician will delete your user account.

      Click the "Start" icon on your computer's home page.

      Select "Control Panel" from the options menu.

      Click on the "Add or Remove Programs" or "Uninstall a Program" option.

      Select the Absolute Poker icon to remove the program.

      Return to your desktop and select the "My Computer" icon.
