Instructions for Pocket Tissue Holders
Pocket tissues are a handbag necessity with many uses, from blowing your nose to cleaning tables. However, their usual packaging can be bland. A cover for your pocket tissues makes them much more stylish and also prevents the packet from getting dirty or emptying into your bag. They can also make cheap yet useful gifts.

Instructions
-
-
1
Measure 2.7 inches down the short side of the piece of fabric you wish to go on top, and draw a line. This line should be approximately halfway down the fabric. Measure 1 inch from the edge of the 7-inch side, and mark point A. Repeat on the opposite side, and mark point B.
-
2
Cut the fabric along the halfway line, between point A and point B.
-
-
3
Place the two pieces of fabric on top of each other, inside out, so the patterned sides of the fabric touch.
-
4
Turn the fabric so the 7-inch sides are horizontal. Starting in the top left corner, insert fabric pins pointing downward through the fabric, about 1/2 inch from the edge of the fabric. Ensure the pins go through both pieces of fabric. Repeat on the opposite side.
-
5
Sew a 1/2-inch seam in the 1/2-inch gap between the edge of the fabric and the pins on both sides.
-
6
Turn the fabric inside out, so that the seams are on the inside.
-
7
Iron the fabric so it lies flat.
-
8
Place tissues into the holder.
