How to Register a Maytag Dishwasher

Maytag recommends that all consumers register their Maytag appliances with the company via the Maytag website. When a product is registered, it allows Maytag to verify warranty information when performing service calls, as well as keep a record of the past service performed on the dishwasher. Each dishwasher is assigned a specific, individual serial number that is used by Maytag to differentiate the dishwasher from another of the same model. The model and serial numbers can be found on the dishwasher's original packaging, or on a sticker placed inside the dishwasher.

Instructions

1. Locate the model and serial numbers of your specific dishwasher. The model and serial numbers are located on a sticker placed on the underside of the dishwasher control panel, or on the top-left corner of the door jamb.

2. Visit the Maytag product registration web page in your web browser (see Resources).

3. Enter your personal information, including your name, address, telephone number and email address, in the boxes.

4. Select "Dishwasher" from the "Product Type" drop-down menu, then enter your model number, serial number and purchase information.

5. Click "Register" to submit your registration to Maytag.
