How to Sync With Subtitle Workshop
If you have a movie that has a subtitle, it can be frustrating if the subtitle is out of sync with the rest of the movie. It makes it hard to follow what's going on since you don't know which words connect to which speaker. You can fix this problem using software like Subtitle Workshop that will allow you to fix the sync in your movie to get the subtitles back on track again.

Download and install Subtitle Workshop (see Resources). The program opens when you close the installation screen.

Click and drag your subtitle and video files into the program screen.

Select "Add Subtitle/Video Synchronization Point."

Locate the numbers for the first and last spoekn lines in your video. They're listed on the right sliding bar.

Select the "Simple" tab. Enter the numbers that you saw for your video into the "First Spoken line" and "Last Spoken Line" boxes. Click "Adjust" to sync.
