Instructions

  1. Wood

    • 1

Place the PVC sheet on the wooden surface. Make sure it covers it completely.

    • 2

Drill a hole through each of the corners of the PVC sheet and into the wood with a 3/8-inch bit. Change the bit to a screwdriver and drive wood screws through the sheet and into the wood to attach the sheet to the wooden surface.

    • 3

Drill a hole on each side of the PVC sheet as you did in Step 2. You will now have a total of 8 holes. Switch out the bit for the screwdriver and drive screws through the holes you created and into the wood.

    Metal

    • 4

Place the sheet of PVC on the metal. Make sure the size of the sheet matches what you are trying to cover.

    • 5

Drill holes in each of the four corners and sides for a total of 8 holes. The size of the holes will be determined by the size of the bolts used. For smaller pieces of metal, use smaller bolts and matching hex nuts.

    • 6

Twist a bolt through each of the holes so it rests on the PVC sheet. Screw a hex nut to each bolt to secure the PVC sheet to the metal surface.
