Instructions for Beaded Tree Flowers
Make beaded tree flowers as an artful gift or creative centerpiece for your own table. Beaded tree flowers are tiny hand-bent wire plants covered in beads. Beading is an inexpensive craft that people of almost any age can take part in. Collections of beaded flowers form a small flower garden or bouquet display.
Things You'll Need
- Craft wire (24 to 28 gauge)

1
Break off a 24-inch section of the craft wire. Bend the wire quickly at the break point in opposing directions until it comes apart.
-
2
Slide the tiny seed beads onto the wire until they fill about half its length. Crimp the end of the wire in a U-shape around the end seed bead to keep the beads from sliding off.

3
Insert the empty end of the wire into the ¼-inch bead. Twist the wire around and through the bead to secure it to the end.
-
4
Bend the empty wire protruding from the ¼-inch bead in a loop the size of the flower petals you want. Tilt the wire to slide a full load of the tiny seed beads onto the looped wire section. Twist the ends of the beaded flower petal to lock the beads in place.
-
5
Form and fill more wire loops to form a circle of petals around the central bead. Straighten and add seed beads to the U-shaped end of the wire if you run out.
-
6
Double over the length of the empty wire stem once the flower petals are complete. Wrap the doubled thick wire section tightly with a single layer of floral tape. Push an inch of the wrapped base of the beaded tree flower into a block of floral foam to make it stand upright.

Tips & Warnings
Add a variety of colorful beaded tree flowers to the foam floral block. Slightly bend each tree differently for a natural growing flower look.
Craft wire ends can scrape or puncture skin when they are not handled carefully.
