Directions on How to Work a Food Saver

The FoodSaver is a device that allows you to vacuum seal and store leftover food, keeping it fresh for an extended period of time. Sealing food also makes it easier to transport without the risk of spills or your food breaking apart. If you've purchased a FoodSaver and would like to know how to use it properly, you can do so in just a few steps.

Instructions

1. Open the front door of the FoodSaver device and pull out a large enough area of plastic to seal your food.

2. Push the bag cutter from right to left to cut the plastic and create a bag.

3. Insert one end of the bag into the sealer at the bottom of the device and press the "Seal" button. One half of your bag will now be sealed.

4. Place your food into the open end of the bag.

5. Insert the open end of your bag into the sealer and hold it there until the vacuum turns on. This will suck all the air out of your bag. The sealer will then seal your bag, creating an airtight compartment for your food. You can now store the food as you wish.
