- Newspaper
- Bubble wrap
- Shipping box
- Zip-top sandwich bags, air pillows or packing peanuts
- Tape
- Permanent black marker

Wrap the dried flower wreath in bubble wrap taped to itself or lightly wrapped newspaper.

Choose a strong, clean cardboard box free of barcodes and other writing. Fill the bottom of the box with packing peanuts or air pillows. Air pillows can be purchased or created by filling zip-top sandwich bags with air.

Place the wreath on top of the packing peanuts and tape it to the box. This will stop the wreath from shifting inside the box.

Fill the top of the box with more packing peanuts or air pillows. You want to fill the box so that the contents don't move, but you don't want the box to be overfilled and crush the delicate wreath.

Include a greeting card with a message with the gift.

Measure the box's width, depth, and length. Then weigh it. If you don't have a scale, you can approximate the weight. These measurements can be put into each shipping company's cost calculator, which are included in the Resources section. This will give you an approximate date of when the recipient will get the wreath and cost of the shipment.

Tape the box and write "Fragile" on the outside. Add the return and recipient addresses and bring the package to a post office or shipping facility.

Choose to send the wreath overnight, ground or another method that's offered at the post office or shipping facility. The quicker you want the package to arrive, the more expensive it will be.
