How to Get the Helicopter Pilot in Mercenaries 2
"Mercenaries 2: World in Flames" requires you to recruit different types of allies to complete missions. One of the required recruits is a helicopter pilot named Ewan. In order to acquire Ewan, you must complete the contract titled "Phone Tag." The contract has multiple waypoints and pays $500,000. You will also acquire 250 fuel for completing this contract. Use tanks, helicopters and gunfire to navigate and conquer "Phone Tag."

Use your PDA to mark the waypoint located in the left area of the map. Go to this waypoint, avoiding any roadblocks on the way. Find the two parking garages. Go up to the top of the north parking garage on foot. Take out the other soldiers and shoot the pilot of the SAM with a vulcan cannon. Use the SAM's anti-air missiles to take out the patrolling helicopter. Walk to the southern wall of this parking garage. Get the listening post delivery and throw it at the waypoint on the other parking garage. Leave the parking garage and hijack a car.

Bring up your map and find the runway to the west. Drive to the runway. Hijack the helicopter and fly to the waypoint in the northeastern part of the area. Find the tank in front of the base and destroy it with the helicopter's missiles. Fire your machine guns at the gas container and a missile at the stone building where the soldiers spawn. Land and exit the helicopter. Use another listening post delivery in the area that's highlighted. Find the last waypoint on the map and fly there with the helicopter.

Land the helicopter on the dock behind the final waypoint's base. Throw an explosive on the gate and take out as many soldiers as you can before reaching the tank. Shoot the turret gunner and enter the tank. Take out enemies until you can make the last listening post delivery call in the highlighted area. Make the call and wait in your helicopter for the hostage to be marked as a waypoint. Pursue the armored vehicle. Use the winch to pick up the vehicle. Carefully lower the vehicle to the ground. Land and exit the helicopter. Get into the armored vehicle and drive to headquarters. Enter the highlighted area. Get into Ewan's helicopter and go to your base.
