How to Disable Display Driver Gamma

Display drivers allow you to watch videos online.

Display drivers process video, visual graphics and images to a monitor. Basic display drivers are installed with Windows, but if you purchase a new video card that did not come previously installed in your computer, you need to download display drivers for that particular card. If you are having problems with a display driver or it conflicts with other drivers on your computer, Windows provides a disabling feature. Once it is disabled, it will not restart until you enable it again.

Instructions

1. Click "Start," type "Device Manager" in the Search bar and press "Enter."

2. Click the "+" sign next to "Display Adapters" to expand this section. Double-click the Gamma Correction software in the list and the "Properties" window opens.

3. Click the "Driver" tab and then click the "Disable" button to disable the Gamma display driver. Click "OK" to confirm. Close the Device Manager window by clicking the "X" in the upper-right corner.
