How to Scan Drawings Into Manga Studio Debut 4

Manga Studio Debut 4 is a computer graphics program that you can use to create Japanese manga-styled digital comics. If you want to scan your drawings and import them into the program, you will need a scanner for your computer. You can then open the scanned pictures in Manga Studio and edit them with the program's digital art tools to turn them into graphic art or make them part of your digital manga comic.

Instructions

1. Turn on your computer's scanner and place your drawing face-down on the scanner glass.

2. Click the "Start" button on your computer's task bar, "Control Panel," then click "Devices and Printers."

3. Double-click the "Scan a Document & Picture" option to launch the Windows scanning software in a new window.

4. Click the "Preview" button to see a sample of what your drawing will look like once it is scanned.

5. Click the "Scan" button to scan a digital copy of the image and save it to your computer. When the scan is complete, a new window will open, showing you the location of the newly scanned image.

6. Launch the Manga Studio Debut 4 program.

7. Click "File" and choose "Open" from the top menu.

8. Browse your computer for the image you just scanned and double-click the file to load it into Manga Studio Debut 4. You will now be able to draw and edit on your scanned drawing.
