There are few Tex-Mex dishes more delicious than the fajita; the delectable choice of meats including beef, chicken and shrimp, the fried onions, the condiments and the cheese all rolled into one delicious sandwich make the fajita pretty much irresistible. Add a mix of fajita seasoning with the complete blend of spices and wrap it up in a fresh corn tortilla and you have the perfect sandwich. Things You'll Need

  • 3 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. paprika
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 2.5 tsp. chicken bouillon cube
  • 1.5 tsp. onion powder
  • .5 tsp. garlic powder
  • .5 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • .25 tsp red pepper flakes
  • .5 tsp cumin

      In a small bowl, crush the red pepper flakes and the chicken bouillon cube together.

      In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients and mix them thoroughly until completely blended.

      Store the mixture in an airtight container or in a zip-close bag.

      Season your fajita. Use 2 or 3 tbsp. per fajita serving. After you've made the main fajita - the meat, onions, peppers and anything else that you're frying - spread your tortilla with any condiments that you like. You can use mayonnaise, pesto, chili sauce or any of your other favorite condiments. Add lettuce, pickles and tomatoes, heap the fajita meat on, and top it off with the seasoning. Roll it up and you're ready to go.
