How do I Troubleshoot an HP 3210XI to Print to Photo Paper?
The HP Photosmart 3210XI has all the features of a standard all-in-one machine, such as copying and scanning, but its primary function is for printing photographs on glossy photo paper. Printing photos from your digital camera's memory card isn't handled in the exact same way as printing a normal document, and you may need to perform some slight troubleshooting to get it right. Printing photo paper requires changing a few options on the printer's control panel.

Tips & Warnings
If your photo paper prints are coming out misaligned or with faded colors, remove the photo paper and insert standard copy paper into the main paper feed tray. Tap "Setup" and press the "5" and "3" keys on the control panel. Navigate to "Align Printer" and press "OK" to perform an alignment. Navigate to "Clean Printhead" option and press "OK" to clean the photo ink printheads.
If your photos are stored on your computer, you don't have to insert the memory card in the Photosmart 3210XI's memory card slot. Instead, open the image with your image viewing software and select the "File" and "Print" options.
