Host a Secret Santa game to exchange gifts with your friends.

Exchanging gifts with friends during Christmas time is an enjoyable way to revel and socialize. The most popular form of gift exchange during the holiday season is Secret Santa, during which time you and your friends all buy gifts for one another and swap them during a party. Hosting a Secret Santa exchange is simple and will bring laughter and festivity to your holiday celebration.

Instructions

    • 1

Plan a day for your gift exchange. Contact each guest and figure out a day that works with everyone's schedule. Once you set a date, send the invitations or bring them to school to hand out.

    • 2

Set a manageable budget for your guests, to ensure that nobody has to purchase an expensive gift and everybody is able to participate.

    • 3

Adorn the party location with Christmas decorations and provide snacks for your guests. Hang tinsel and mistletoe or make paper snowflakes and hang them around the room.

    • 4

Write the name of each guest on separate slips of paper and put them into a stocking or Santa hat. Have each guest draw a name from the hat to find out who is receiving a gift from who.

    • 5

Start exchanging gifts. Have your guests open gifts one at a time so that everyone can see what is being exchanged.
