Ensure the Rheem tankless water heater is properly connected to the power supply and is turned "On" if the unit is not functioning. Replace the fuse or circuit breaker if necessary.

Check to make sure all of the electrical connections are wired correctly and that the water heater is properly grounded.

Flush the cold water supply line to remove any dirt or water deposits if the water flow is reduced.

Turn the temperature thermostat up if the water is not hot enough. Give the water at least an hour to increase in temperature. Note that cold water takes longer to heat during the winter or in cold weather.

Turn down the temperature thermostat if the water is too hot. Recommended temperatures are between 120 and 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

Close all faucets tightly if there is water leaking from the faucets before or after hot water has been produced.
