1
Drain all the water from the engine of your Honda Aquatrax. Start the engine and let it run for at least 30 seconds. Turn the handle on your jet ski back and forth to help drain the water out of the engine faster.

2
Pour 1 gallon of water into a container and add 2 teaspoons of mild detergent to it. Use a cloth to thoroughly wash the outside of your Aquatrax to remove grime and dirt. Rinse the surface of the ski jet with clean water, then dry thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.

3
Protect the exterior of your Aquatrax by applying wax. Follow the manufacturer's directions to apply the wax correctly. Protect the metal surfaces, latches and hooks by applying a light coat of multi-purpose lube.

4
Fill the gas tank with gas and add gas stabilizer to prevent the gas from becoming thick during storage. Allow the stabilizer to circulate through the gas tank by starting the engine at least twice. The engine should run for 30 seconds both times.

5
Disconnect the battery's negative terminal and then the positive terminal. Then remove the battery. Keep the battery inside a garage or a shed to avoid inhaling dangerous fumes. Cover your Honda Aquatrax and store it in a safe location.
