How to Measure a Boat Combo Trailer
Boat combo trailers include a section for one or two personal watercrafts and an additional area to carry a boat. Some models place the boat on the front and others place it on the back. Most boat combo trailers also include a storage box on the front for life vests or additional cans of fuel. This design allows the use of only one towing vehicle to trailer all the items to the lake for water sports.
Instructions

1
Park the boat combo trailer on level ground.
-
2
Place the tip of a measuring tape on the back of the trailer where the boat sits on one side. Stretch the measuring tape forward to the boat winch. Hold a yardstick against the boat winch hook and down past the trailer frame. The measurement where the yardstick and measuring tape meet is the size boat that will fit on the trailer.

3
Measure the width of the boat trailer rear from one side to the other. This is the maximum width boat that will fit on the combo trailer.
-
4
Measure the personal watercraft area from the flat part of the rear to the winch on the front. Hold a yardstick up to the winch and stretch the measuring tape past it. The combined measurement is the length of personal watercrafts that will fit on the trailer.

Tips & Warnings
Match the measurements to the boat and personal watercrafts by measuring each from the eye that rests against the winch to the rear.
