      Contact a weatherization program such as that run by North East Florida Community Action Agency (NFCAA). Throughout Florida, community action agencies offer weatherization programs. According to the News Blaze website, Solar Energy Initiatives Inc. in 2010 announced plans for installation of 10 solar thermal hot water systems as part of the (NFCAA) Weatherization Assistance Program in Duval County, Florida. Check to see if solar panel subsidies are in the future, as community action agencies have ongoing weatherization programs funded by government grants.

      Contact the Orange County Homeowner Energy Efficiency Program. The program operates as a social networking program, where 10 families in an Orange County neighborhood join together. Rebates are available for each home that applies and upgrades include solar energy upgrades and solar panels.
