How to Bedazzle Pacifiers
It is possible to bedazzle a pacifier, but the safety of your child should be considered first and foremost. A pacifier goes in a baby's mouth, so any decorative pieces added to the pacifier could also easily get into the baby's mouth. A pacifier is a functional accessory, not generally a fashion statement. However, a bedazzled pacifier can be used to accessorize a special occasion outfit. With a little imagination, you can create a unique pacifier for your little one.
Instructions
-
Choose a Design
-
1
Use a plain-colored pacifier so that you have a blank canvas to work with.
-
2
Attach transfers or stickers that will adhere to plastic. Go to your local craft store for advice on which type are best for this purpose.
-
-
3
Place the transfers or stickers in a pleasing design. For instance, if you are using different-colored, glittered stars, create a night sky by adding a crescent moon.
Design Idea
-
4
Find stickers or transfers that look like jewels.
-
5
Place a large "jewel" sticker in the center of the pacifier.
-
6
Create a ring- or flower-shaped design by placing smaller "jewel" stickers in a circular shape around the large "jewel" sticker.
-
7
Add smaller silver or gold sparkles around the circular edge of the pacifier to make the design stand out.

Tips & Warnings
The stickers or transfers may not adhere for a long period of time, especially if they get wet.
It is better to buy a premade pacifier with a pretty design or sparkle embedded in the plastic. It will last longer and will have passed safety tests.
Do not use an actual bedazzling tool that is used to add studs and jewels to fabric. This is dangerous and not recommended.
Do not use jewels of any kind to decorate a pacifier. If they fall off, they could be a choking hazard.
