Step-by-Step Bed Sheet Curtains

Measure the height of the window you are making the curtains for. Determine how long you want your curtains to be, based on that height.

Trim a top sheet to the length you want your curtains to be, adding 2 1/2 inches; trim the end of the sheet with the narrow hem, opposite the end with the wide hem. The wide hemmed edge will be the bottom edge of your curtain

Fold the cut edge of the bed sheet toward the wrong side 1/2 inch. Press the fold. Fold the same edge down 2 inches and press the fold.

Sew the folded down edge with a 1/8-inch seam allowance to create a casing for the curtain rod to fit through.
