Instructions

    • 1

Use a tape measure to determine the appropriate height for the pull-up bar. The brackets that came with your pull-up bar kit should be installed approximately one foot above the height of your shoulders. This will ensure that you can comfortably reach the bar without overextending your arms.

    • 2

Place the brackets on the desired mounting location of the door frame. Use a pencil to mark the holes where the screws will go. You must install the brackets on the center door frame panel. Make sure the brackets are correctly aligned using the tape measure to ensure that the bar will be level.

    • 3

Remove the brackets and use a manual or electrical screwdriver to drill a small hole (1/16-inch) into the door frame where you made the pencil marks. This will help you find the marks when you place the brackets back on the door frame.

    • 4

Place the brackets on the door frame with the bracket holes lined up with the door frame holes. Use a manual or electric screwdriver to drive the screws that came with your pull-up bar kit into place until they are tight and secure.

    • 5

Place the bar on the brackets. You will have to set the bar into place by placing it above the brackets, pulling it down.
