Homemade Happy Birthday Cards
If you know a family member or a friend celebrating a birthday, send him a personal birthday card to make him feel loved. One option is to make the birthday card yourself instead of purchasing a generic one at a card shop. All you need are some basic craft supplies that can be purchased from any art supply store.
Things You'll Need
- Colored construction paper
- Pinking shears
- Craft glue
- Glitter glue
- Colored pencils
Instructions
-
-
1
Fold a sheet of construction paper in half (width-wise). Run your finger down the center fold to flatten it.
-
2
Cut out a balloon with pinking shears from another construction paper. Pinking shears will make the edges ruffle and give the cutout a festive look. Make the balloon as small or big as you want, as long as it will fit on the front of the card.
-
-
3
Glue the balloon onto the front of the card using craft glue.
-
4
Trace around the balloon using glitter glue. Wait for the glue to dry completely.
-
5
Write "Happy Birthday" above the balloon using colored pencils.
